Ashley provides strategic consulting and project management services to nonprofit and philanthropic organizations, building upon more than 14 years of experience with strategic planning, project and program management, and business development from across the regional nonprofit, philanthropic, private and public sectors.  She loves nothing more than helping her clients identify and execute creative solutions to their most pressing organizational priorities. With a unique ability to see both the forest and the trees, she helps clients connect the dots in order to find solutions that are at once strategic, operational, and sustainable.

Through 2016, Ashley served as the Director of Programs and Strategic Partnerships for Philanthropy Network Greater Philadelphia, where she helped members of the regional philanthropic community be more strategic and collaborative in their grantmaking.  Working with a diverse group of 150 funders, wealth advisors, and philanthropic support organizations, Ashley designed and executed more than 50 original educational programs and workshops annually focusing on philanthropic practice and strategy.  She also managed numerous strategic initiatives focused on funder engagement and collaboration, produced major regional conferences serving 400+ attendees, including leading fundraising efforts for these events, and led business development and member recruitment functions of the organization.

Prior to joining Philanthropy Network, Ashley worked on strategic planning initiatives and supported fund development for JEVS Human Services, a leading human services agency in Greater Philadelphia. She also served as a Project Manager and Business Development Manager for Econsult Corporation, a regional economic consulting firm, where her work focused on economic development strategies for a diverse range of public and private sector clients.  Ashley has also worked with the School District of Philadelphia (Office of Development), Pennsylvania Governor's Office of Policy and Planning and the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC).

Ashley is passionate about supporting the regional nonprofit sector through both her consulting work and as a volunteer. She currently serves on the boards of Girls Rock Philly, where she also served as Treasurer, and Ryan's Case for Smiles.  Ashley is also active in various steering committees and advisory boards throughout the region.

Ashley holds a Master of Public Administration degree and Politics Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania’s Fels Institute of Government, and Bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Advertising from Penn State University. She is an alum of the Nonprofit Executive Leadership Institute (NELI) at Bryn Mawr College and United Way’s Emerging Leaders Program, and a participant in the Economy League's Greater Philadelphia Leadership Exchange.

Ashley lives in the Graduate Hospital neighborhood of Philadelphia with her husband, daughter, and son.  When she isn't busy supporting her clients, she loves exploring the City and taking in all that it has to offer.
